MJThompson [aka: Pastor Mark] is an ordained Christian minister, theologian, and certified counselor. He has authored and published several articles on spirituality and Christian theology. He currently operates an online Christian counseling ministry called Aaron’s Aid Online Christian Counseling Center which he opened in 2002.
He and his wife served in full-time ministry as pastors for three different congregations 1978-2002. During that time, they pioneered a local mission outreach, The Rainbow Inn which served the homeless in their community food and clothing. They were also Co-Directors of ERTE a non-profit organization that teaches the Bible to public school students 1982-1990.
The Thompsons also served on their district youth council SC4Y in which they organized and facilitated youth programs and week-long camps and retreats 1988-2000. Mark organized and co-produced concerts featuring contemporary Christian rock bands at their facility called The Rock House. They also extended these resources to evangelical outreach in the state prison system.
